In this game you have to become Captain of the ship and then select a desired Crew, build your own ship and then explore the universe or fight the Aliens. This game gets you started with a much modest way and you play missions in your own shuttle. These missions are on different locations at the Galactic map. With every completed mission your earn some money, some experience points and with these you can hire a new developed crew.

Or else you can purchase a whole new ship of your own. Just go with the flow and play the missions in which you will have to fight the Space Pirates and zombies. Also as you progress in the game it becomes more and more difficult and in this way you enjoy every level more.

Star Command Galaxies will be regularly updated with new races, missions, planets, equipment, ships and much more! Star Command Galaxies began development after the Android release of Star Command on mobile devices. The team at Warballoon wanted to build a much larger, more expansive and less linear version of the game.

There are many levels and missions for you to complete. And in every level you will face new enemies with different capabilities.

All in all this game is very enjoyable and worth a try. You may also like to download.

Coombsanity: Hey folks, Jordan here - one of the creators of Star Command!Couple quick things about the game.First - Yes, we will 100% be on GOG. We have been in touch with them since Star Command Galaxies development began.

They have been very supportive and we will be on here.Second - All of our kickstarters, 1st and 2nd did receive the game. As for the funds, 100% went to the development of Star Command Galaxies. But to be frank, 150k is about 15% of the total cost of the game so a lot of other funding has come in, both from the success of the mobile title and investors.

It's really neither here nor there though - all that matters is that the game is good.Third - we have not discarded mobile. It's a big income generator for us, as we have sold over 600,000 units. We are currently porting to WIndows phone, revising gameplay elements like combat and adding new content like pirates. That said, we're always a bit lost on the requirement to provide continued support for the game. Star Command mobile is significantly longer than other $2.99 games so were just not sure where that outlook comes from (again, one of the major problems with the mobile market).Currently the plan is to have monthly updates and the next one will be out mid January. We are taking a Prison-Architect/Kerbal/Rimworld route through our Alpha to take some of the pressure off of a schedule and keep the focus on progress and quality.Be happy to answer any and all questions as well!

I will be checking in the forum regularly now that I know there is GoG following here.Cheers and Happy Holidays,Jordan@Warballoon Thanks for informing us of your plans, I look forward to purchasing when it comes to GOG.:). I see alot of potential for the 'vision' warbaloon expects the game will be at launch, but the road so far has been bumpy to say the least, so I won't be holding my breath for the final release of SCG. There are literally worlds apart between their promises and what they delivered so far for a pc player.I pledged to their second KS, and considered my pledge fulfilled when i played the mobile version they offered, wich i quite enjoyed despite not exactly pc friendly playing trough an emulator. Their release for mobile is one of the few positive points, but the negatives are plenty.I'm realistic enough to understand the risks of KS and game development, and hopefull SGC will turn into an enjoyable game, so a 'hope for the best but expect the worst' aproach seems wise. Crosmando: I remember when this was one of the 'earlier' Kickstarter projects, and the PC version is STILL not out? Well we had two Kickstarters - one for mobile which was one of the earlier Kickstarters and one after for the PC version. We were planning a straight port with added features but realized/decided creating a new game from the ground up would be the better path in the long run.

Features like dynamic maps, procedural planets, and a lot of the other features were going to be extremely difficult to execute.Galaxies is built for the long haul. Mod support, no linear story, with the ability to quickly add features and content. All of which were very hard and time consuming on mobile/CoCos2D. Coombsanity: Glad you're stoked. We have a lot of the same complaints about our own game - hence Galaxies. It really is an answer to all the problems/issues/flaws with Star Command mobile. Super scribblenauts gameplay. Just want to express that I was really eager for Star Command.

And I was let down by all the cuts you had to make for the final version (no planetary landings, etc).Right now, you got my interest again. And I'm really hoping you manage to achieve your goals.Take all the time you need to bring us the game we hope for.
