They are written by adults anyway.plenty of authors write about experiences different from them, can’t readers do the same without being targeted by cringe culture?i’m a young girl reading fight club for fun and i think guys can read the traveling pants if they want.so much is relatable about characters and fiction other than identity and demographic. :it’s fine to want fiction for people like yourself but it’s also not illegal to enjoy fiction about characters different from you.middle schoolers are already reading YA fiction, who cares if adults still like harry potter or percy jackson? Dear diary mood apathetic.
