Battlefield 2142 Factions
The miniature dropship in the above video hovers around Kharg Island like a blind wasp, and bears the logo of one of 2142’s factions.Easter eggs are ace, but let’s be totally clear here: this drone doesn’t say anything as explicit as “Battlefield 2143 lives”. What it does do is mutely indicate that DICE still think about a sci-fi Battlefield from time to time. Whether that’ll ever crescendo as anything other than water cooler nostalgia in Stockholm isn’t a question our mute, bobbing friend can answer.Battlefield 2143 is the sequel that every thirtieth person in a Battlefield 4-related comment thread is asking for. Are you that guy? Thanks,.
My time at portia review. Be prepared thoughit won't be easy! The town of Portia is full of friendly new faces for you to meet.
SlugSniperWith Battlefield 2142 coming hot on the heels of last year's Battlefield 2, there are bound to be questions on how genuinely new this game actually is. Battlefield 2 was an all around top title when it was released in June of 2005. It erased the memories of the last Battlefield: Vietnam game.

European Union
Obviously, the story for this faction has already been told in 2142.
Pan Asian Coalition
Again, a faction we're already familiar with from both 2142 and BF4 Final Stand.
United States
The US had been surviving on its own well enough until the Yellowstone supervolcano erupted. Seeing an opportunity, the PAC, locked in a stalemate with the EU, invades North America. The PAC initially gains ground in Alaska, California and the Pacific, but then encounters heavy resistance from US forces. Battles rage across landscapes and cities covered in snow and volcanic ash.
South American Union
Knowing that the PAC would eventually need to force their way south, the nations of South America unite to aid the US against the PAC. The SAU launches an attack on the flank of the PAC's invasion force, and the PAC finds itself locked in yet another stalemate.
Middle Eastern Coalition
Originally introduced in BF2, the MEC is re-formed when both the EU and the PAC start invading regions of the middle east for resources. Three-sided battles are fought across the now freezing deserts of the middle east.
Australia
Over the years, Australia slowly froze over, and the Australian population was forced to head north into Indonesia and the Indian Ocean. With the majority of the PAC focused on the EU, the Australian army and militias were able to gain small amounts of territory with little resistance from the PAC. As the wars progress, and the PAC becomes focused on two fronts against the EU and the US, Australian forces are able to press further inland. The PAC is forced to form its own militias to counter the Australian forces, and intense combat ensues with both sides fighting with whatever they have, including outdated weaponry and vehicles.
Anyone else have any ideas for factions or for the storyline in general?
GigantusInPantus said:Leaving out the fisticuffs, Australia's not a bad idea.
Australia comes in and challenges people to duke it out with fisticuffs.

- An everyone against PAC war doesn't sound very interesting or real.
