Right-click your character folder and select 'Rename.' Type a name for the new character. Click the character folder and find the '.def' file.
Open the file in a text editing program and 'Save As' the new character's name.def (newcharactername.def). The character will not work if the folder name and the.def file do not match.Open 'select.def' using a text editor, and remove the lines between 'Characters' and 'kfm, stages/kfm.def.' Add the new character's name directly under the 'kfm, stages/kfm.def' line.Start 'Mugen' and play as the new character.
